New Ambassadors
Cat and Julian O’Dell have recently been appointed as Ambassadors of Action Against Cancer, in recognition of their incredible work fundraising for our cutting-edge research.
"We are so thrilled to be invited to be Ambassadors for Action Against Cancer" said Julian. “Since we first became aware of the charity in 2016, we have been keen to support it. We are forever grateful to Professor Stebbing for the care he gave Cat during her toughest times and that he helped her into remission against all odds. Raising funds for Action Against Cancer is our way of saying thank you.”
Cat added “We were immediately impressed with the way the charity was run and that as a small charity with low overheads, the money raised goes to the sharp end to fund groundbreaking research which ultimately will save lives.”
The O’Dells’ annual music festival Catfest held in the garden of their home near Milton Keynes raised over £45,000 this year, up from an already impressive £35,000 in 2017. They will be running it again and would be very appreciative of any auction lots, raffle prizes or donations. Please contact Charley at charley@aacancer.org or 07535 806 067, thank you.
