AAC Chairwoman honoured by the Queen
We are pleased to announce that Hilary Craft, Action Against Cancer's inspirational founder and Chairwoman has been awarded the British Empire Medal in the New Year's Honour's List 2013. Hilary has suffered with breast cancer, lung cancer and leukaemia over the past 15 years but has raised huge sums in the battle against cancer. Speaking after being awarded the Medal, Hilary says: 'I feel humbled to have been awarded with this great honour. It is my dream that the charitable work for which I have been acknowledged continues from strength to strength, to support Professor Justin Stebbing and his team at Imperial College, London - to fund their research with the goal for cancer to become a chronic disease that one can live with'.
