Wedding gift donations

Newly married Kirsty and David Lantos kindly asked their friends and family to make donations to Action Against Cancer instead of giving wedding presents, and raised over £3,300 including gift aid! This was in memory of Christian Lantos who sadly died in December 2017.

"The charity is very close to our hearts and we are very proud to have been able to donate such a substantial amount. We know Christian would be very proud of this as are we and hope it goes on to help in many ways."

A well-supported cricket festival was also held at Dulwich College Cricket Ground this summer, organised by Christian's wife Torie. A fundraising event is also planned at Hunstanton Golf Course for later in the year, as well as wedding gift donations from another generous couple about to be married.

All of these funds raised in Christian's memory will be put to excellent use in the laboratory developing better diagnostics and treatments for cancer patients.
