Cycling 400 miles through the Bavarian Alps!

A 16-strong team of riders from across the UK have completed a tough five day challenge cycling from Munich to Berlin. Some of the riders from the annual Tour of Europe Ride, organised by the award winning Barnsley based retail property developers Dransfield Properties Ltd, presented a cheque for £16,650 to Action Against Cancer.

The team are now busy planning the 2016 ride which will take place this September and will see the team pick up last year's finish point in Berlin to cycle another 380 plus miles through to their finish point in Denmark's capital of Copenhagen.

Mark Dransfield, Managing Director of Dransfield Properties Ltd, said: "It was fantastic to meet the team who are undertaking the vital research and work to progress the treatment and cure of cancers. Seeing what our fundraising efforts help to support and achieve makes us all realise that all those miles and high altitude climbs are all well worth the effort the riders put in and we are looking forward to getting on with the next leg of the tour in September.

We would like to thank everyone who has sponsored and supported us since we started our Tour of Europe challenge - we really do appreciate every penny that is donated."
